Some guests mention that the restaurant can get quite busy during peak times, making takeaway slots fill quickly. This means it’s wise to place orders early on weekends. Others note that dine-in options may not always be available, leading to disappointment for those eager to experience the ambience firsthand. While most appreciate the casual vibe, a few have expressed a desire for a more formal dining atmosphere. There are occasional remarks about the need for additional vegetarian options, as most of the menu focuses heavily on seafood. Such feedback showcases the passion customers have for constantly improving their favorite neighborhood spot.
My partner and I have dined here several times and regularly order takeaway. The quality of the food is incredible - you can absolutely taste the difference between this and some of the chain sushi places that are opening nearby (e.g. Iro). Everything is made fresh to order, the sushi rice is the perfect flavour and consistency and the fish is super high quality. It’s also very reasonably priced for the quality of food you’re getting. Our particular favourites include salmon sashimi, prawn tempura roll, crunchy tuna roll, English roll and rock’n’roll. They are very popular and takeaway slots can fill quickly at peak times, so get your orders in early on peak Friday/Saturday evenings. The staff taking orders on the phones are very polite. They aren’t always open for dine-in, but I’d recommend going along if you can - it’s great watching the chefs in action!
Best sushi in London. We have been regular customers and we never appreciated how good it is until we went to Japan. It is better sushi than most of the sushi restaurants we have been to in Japan. Highly recommend. Also @Head chef, please don’t retire. We love your sushi.
Food and the service amazing. Normally go out into London. But found this on Google and was local so gave it a try and will be back again. Picked up a few suhi tips from the chief too.. One begin the ginger is to cleanse the pallet between sushi..
Really amazing sushi. No bad feedback. We’ll be back.
Best sushi we’ve ever had! Very impressed, can’t wait to come back again. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The fish was very fresh, better than any London venue we’ve visited. Such a great experience - highly recommend!
These are the best sushi in London and southeast. We have been coming here for several years and it never disappoints
Came early evening for a meal, food and service was outstanding ! We got a selection of nigiri and rolls, that were all incredibly well priced for sushi. The salmon nigiri especially was perfect, easily the best we have ever had. The staff were very attentive and even provided complimentary appetisers and desserts! Definitely recommend for both takeaway and eat in, although do note the inside is very small so not many tables available for eat in, but it does make the atmosphere even nicer as you can see the chefs preparing your food in front of you. Will definitely be returning, can’t recommend enough !
